We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!

We’ll also use cookies to keep track of basket contents while you’re browsing our site.

For example, we will store order information for XXX years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.

We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:

  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

Payments

We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

Acceptance of your Order
Once an order is placed you will receive a confirmation acknowledging your details. This is an acknowledgement of your details and is not a confirmation of your order. A contract between you and Past Memeories is confirmed once you receive an email with your delivery
information.

We reserve the right not to accept your order if the item is out of stock, does not pass our quality checking stage, or if we are unable to obtain authorization for payment. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.

If items that you order are out of stock, subject to a delay or have pricing, detail or description errors we will try to contact you at the email address you provided.

If we cannot contact you in regards to our out of stock orders we will cancel these within 48 hours.
We reserve the right to reject/cancel any orders placed on this website.
We reserve the right to discontinue/change promotional product deals at any time.

Secure payment
This site uses a secure payment system operated by PayPal which accepts all major credit and debit cards and includes PayPal account payments.

Your order will be acknowledged by sending an email confirming your order.

Sending a Gift
If you are ordering a gift and you would like your invoice to be excluded from your parcel please enter a message in our customer notes area during checkout or please immediately send us an email and we will send your order without an invoice.
Our customer notes area can also be used to let us know any special requirements or gift card message.

Delivery and Packaging
Customers must supply us with the correct name and delivery address, including full post/Zip code.
We post all Packets and parcels in the United Kingdom by the Royal Mail. The length of the delivery time of placing the order and the receipt of such is defined within the section of our “Terms and Conditions.”
When ready for delivery, all orders will be posted at the latter end of the afternoon. In the above circumstances, we cannot be responsible for late or non-deliveries by the Royal Mail Postal Services.

In the event of a non-delivery due to any reason beyond our control, the article will be replaced, subject to the outcome of any enquiries made by the Post Office/consignor.

If you are unavailable to sign for your order at the time of delivery (Royal Mail signed for options: recorded delivery, special delivery and international signed for) it is your responsibility to collect your parcel or arrange another delivery date within the designated time set by Royal Mail.

Orders which are returned to us undelivered due to an incorrect address supplied or marked as ‘not called for’ by Royal Mail may be charged for redelivery at our discretion.

We shall not be responsible for any failure to deliver or perform any of our obligations, resulting from circumstances outside our control (e.g. acts of God, Strikes, Accidents, War, Fire, shortage or unavailable raw materials.)

Delivery charges

All shipping is based on weight.

UK Delivery
Royal Mail Standard 1st Class will be charged from £3.50p.  Delivery will usually take between 1 and 2 working days from dispatch. Royal Mail Standard 2nd Class will be charged from £2.10p.  Delivery will usually take between 2 and 3 working days from dispatch.
UK Royal Mail 48 Hour Tracked from £4.50p.  A signature is required upon delivery.

Europe: Royal Mail International Standard will be charge from £5.45p.  Delivery usually takes between 3-5 working days from dispatch. It is not tracked. Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed will be charged from £10.90p. This service will usually take between 3-5 working days from dispatch.

USA: Royal Mail International Standard will be charged from £7.20p. Delivery usually takes between 6-7 working days from dispatch.  It is not tracked. Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed will be charged from £12.50p.  This service will usually take between 5 to 7 working days from dispatch.

Australia/New Zealand: Royal Mail International standard will be charged from £8.25p. Delivery usually takes 6-7 working days from dispatch.  It is not tracked. Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed will be charged from £13.50p. This service will usually take between 5-7 working days from dispatch.

Canada/Japan:  Royal Mail International standard will be charged from £7.05p. Delivery usually takes 6-7 working days from dispatch.  It is not tracked. Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed will be charged from £12.30p. This service will usually take between 5-7 working days from dispatch.

Delivered Goods
All responsibility for safe-keeping and insurance shall be that of the buyer, once the article is accepted from the postal service.

We cannot accept any consequential loss or damages due in any way from the purchase of any of our goods, or from our negligence, if any, or that of our employees.

In the event that items are missing from your order or you receive items not previously ordered please let us know as soon as possible within 7 working days of the dispatch date so we can rectify this as soon as possible.

Duties & Taxes
International orders are shipped on a DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid) basis. This means that any duties and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.

If a shipment is refused, we will do what we can to nullify the customs charges and have the shipment returned to Past Memories.

We cannot guarantee that customs charges can be voided for a refused shipment. In this case, we will deduct the amount from your refund.

Guarantee
All new products are guaranteed for 12 months against manufacturing defects. These rights are additional to your normal statutory rights.

Acceptance of the delivery of any article ordered is evidence of the acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

If there is any variation in the Terms and Conditions, it will be applicable only if agreed in writing by us and the purchaser.

Returns policy
Should you not be entirely satisfied with your purchase from this website you can return the goods within 14 days of receipt for either an exchange or refund.

Please advise us before sending any returned items and we will issue you with a return authorisation number and instructions for the return of items.

We recommend sending by special delivery with appropriate record of delivery and compensation cover.

All the returns for credit MUST be accompanied by the original tags, labels and documents, returns number and must be in their original condition.

Personalised items specific to the customer cannot be returned. This does not affect your statutory rights.
